Checkpoint Logs
The quiet record between button presses and peace of mind.
Hardware wallet checkpoint logs are structured notes of what the device and operator confirmed — not market advice, not a scoreboard.
What a checkpoint captures
A useful checkpoint records time, action, expected outcome, observed outcome, and who signed off. When firmware shows a confirmation screen, the log should say which screen and why it mattered.
What it deliberately ignores
Price targets, token narratives, and “when to buy” chatter do not belong in the archive. We keep the trail operational so it remains usable under stress.

How we train the habit
-
Export first, interpret second
Learners open real sample exports before inventing terminology, so vocabulary stays grounded.
-
Name the gap
Incomplete restores get written as limitations — a skill we require in the flagship FAQ and exercises.
-
Teach-back
You explain a checkpoint line to a peer. If they cannot restate it, the note is rewritten.
